Green residential tower Brainpark Rotterdam
Commissioned by BAKKERS|HOMMEN, we have designed a striking residential tower in the heart of Brainpark I. The building is part of an ensemble of various new residential buildings and has approximately 200 care apartments with social facilities on the ground floor.

From office park to dynamic urban district
Brainpark I is undergoing a large-scale transformation from a monofunctional office park into a vibrant and mixed urban district. The Municipality of Rotterdam aims to realize 2,500 to 3,000 homes in a green, future-proof living environment where living, working, studying, and recreation come together.
Centrally located in the neighborhood is the Park Zone: a quiet and low-noise area.
Architectural expression
With a height of almost 60 meters, our tower forms a new landmark in the neighborhood. The stepped volume connects with the surrounding buildings and makes the transition from the green courtyard to urban high-rise visible. The wide, staggered balconies in the lower section become shorter towards the top and gradually transition into a slimmer, vertically accentuated tower section.
Pleasant living environment
The residential tower offers approximately 200 spacious and accessible apartments for seniors. At ground level, there is space for community facilities, allowing the building to actively contribute to the vibrancy and social structure of Brainpark.
